I'd heard nothing but positive things about BC Fog.
Online vape communities will rate it as an ATFV, one of the best, ever - an OG classic - and I've heard it described by seasoned vapers as everything from:
- "it's like a creamy blue razz"
- "the boldest e-juice on market"
- "tastes like cotton candy"
- "tastes like blue-raspberry cotton candy"
- "the best, most realistic Blueberry, ever"
...and everything in between....yet, I've gotta say, it's none of the above.
First sniff out of the bottle - it smelled like a delicious & bold Blueberry Jam.
First puff - it tasted like a fruity body spray (thought I'd wasted $40 in that moment)
After steep - it tastes like a smooth, albeit mild, Blueberry.
In fact, 3 weeks later, the flavour has definitely matured in the bottle, and I don't hate it -- but as a Blueberry AND Vanilla lover, it's just too muted for me, and it's not as, "Yum, Blueberry" as I'd hoped.
It could be that it has a more realistic Blueberry flavour, not an artificial one, and that real Blueberries aren't really abundant in flavour -- but even the Blueberry Jam smell is nonexistent in the taste, and I don't detect the Vanilla at all -- except maybe as the medium that mutes the Blueberry, rather than leaving it tart and fruity.
To be clear, it's smooth, but not necessarily sweet. It does have a somewhat dessert flavour, maybe like a real-life bowl of Blueberries n' Cream, but it's not what I would describe, nor recommend as, a Dessert Vape....yet it isn't what I would describe as Fruity Vape, either.
Dr.Fog is my go-to brand and I've yet to find a juice I didn't enjoy -- but this is just overhyped! The single most overhyped Dr.Fog juice, as far as I can tell.
Of course, taste is subjective, so make of it what you will (all of the aforementioned descriptions should attest to that fact).... but I'd also note that it lead to vapor-tongue quite quickly as compared to other Dr.Fog juices (and more comparable to The Drops)..., and I think experienced Blueberry vapers may find themselves disappointed.
That said, if you've tried countless other Blueberry juices that just didn't cut it, or just need a change from Iced Blueberry juices, then this might be for you.
I don't want to dissuade anyone from trying -- I just think if, like me, you've been convinced to try "Dr.Fog's best flavour, ever" you might be slightly disappointed. Potentially lower your expectations, first.
I'll finish the bottle, but I won't repurchase -- unless Dr.Fog 2x the Blueberry.

Side Note: on the upside, the juice performed well on my coils.
