A hidden gem!

Don't let the pecans scare you away -- this is not a nutty vape.
Rather, it is a complex custard, with a smooth, sometimes hardly detectable pecan note.

First sniff -- Buttery pecan vanilla.
First puff -- Buttery nut + french vanilla cream?
With time (warmed up) -- Decadent custard with slightly pecan undertones.

This is not your traditional custard -- and it's much more than a rich vanilla.
It's not pecans + custard, but rather pecan-flavoured crème brûlèe.
It's buttery, it's multifaceted, it's layered and sophisticated. Well-rounded, warm, and a palette-dancer.

Recently I've been really favouring layered flavours designed to taste like specific desserts -- Big FT ICRM being one of them; Scoops being another -- but this is actually far creamier and elegant than those. The crème brûlèe fills my mouth in a way that no vape ever has, even if others were technically bolder.

Of course, I like custards in real life, and Crème Brûlèe is one of my favourite desserts, but unless you despise custard or vanilla or pecan, I can't imagine this flavour bothering anyone (and, no, it's not eggy like some other custards). It's not overwhelming, or muddied down by a million flavours at once, and it's not so simple or light, either. No single note made this flavour. Rather, it just FEELS richer than a usual custard or vanilla vape you'd buy from other brands -- the ones you get sick of real quick because they're boring and hollow, or even sharp but shallow. Bold at first, then which taper into subtly. There's a depth to this crème brûlèe that goes beyond the pecans. I imagine layers of creams and custards. In fact, I'm not convinced there's even vanilla flavour in here, rather, it's just the outcome of a well-balanced recipe.

...which is likely, given that Decoded and Dr.Fog are OGs in the vape game and top-shelf juice-makers. As customers we can always expect that we're getting quality juices with quality flavours from them. And I think the 60/40 ratio adds to the depth and sweetness without the unnecessary and overdone sweeteners.
Yet here's the kicker: they're hard to find.
I've searched high and low, in-person and online, and as per my research, BayVape is only one of two stores in Ontario that sells Decoded (and Dr.Fog) (online, anyway) -- but has far faster service and shipping than the other.
So, it's a no-brainer.

Thinking about it, now, I may double-think leaving these reviews in the future, in the event that everyone else discovers the hidden gems, too, and then I'm left without my ATFs -- or worse -- ordering from BC (*shudders*) ... because I can't go back. I won't go back to The Drops and the Flavour Beasts, or the Vices, Vuses, and Craves. They simply don't even compare.

Just be thankful for BayVape. I've done my due diligence and can promise that they're one of the best. If you can't find something here, I don't know where you'll find it, or even what you're looking for. And if you're looking for something new, try Decoded - Da Vinci Code. It's not mysterious, it's just simple and elegant -- a good starting point but even a solid level-up.

Next time I'm levelling-up to a 60ml.
